Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while delivering exceptional service. Your expertise in coffee preparation and food safety will ensure that every beverage and food item meets our high standards. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso-based drinks, teas, and smoothies.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.
  • Assist with food preparation, ensuring that all items are fresh and presented attractively.
  • Provide excellent customer service by taking orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service.
  • Keep the workspace clean and organised, including equipment maintenance and stock management.
  • Engage with customers to create a friendly environment, answering questions about menu items and making recommendations.

Experience

  • Previous barista experience
  • A solid understanding of food safety practices is required to maintain compliance with health regulations.
  • Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is advantageous.
  • Basic math skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately.
  • Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during peak hours.
