HGV / Agricultural Mechanic – Full-Time, Permanent

Location: On-site

Salary: Up to £40,000 per year (up to £20/hour, depending on experience)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Join a Skilled and Supportive Workshop Team

We are seeking an experienced HGV / Agricultural Mechanic to become part of our friendly, well-equipped workshop. This varied hands-on role covers everything from routine maintenance and diagnostics to full restorations, performance upgrades, and bespoke conversions—ensuring no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service and repair HGVs, tractors, and heavy machinery
  • Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out necessary repairs
  • Complete custom builds, conversions, and vehicle restorations
  • Safely operate heavy equipment
  • Work both independently and collaboratively within a close-knit team
  • Welding and fabrication skills are a plus, but not essential

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience working with HGVs, agricultural machinery, or similar equipment
  • Strong mechanical expertise with excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Self-driven and able to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Physically fit and comfortable in a practical workshop environment
  • Welding/fabrication skills are advantageous
