Why you’ll love this role: Shift options: 4 on / 4 off shifts, including both days and nights No handball: All loads palletised and handled by forklift – no manual loading/unloading Modern fleet: Well-maintained vehicles with full operational support Facilities: Free on-site parking and excellent driver amenities Career growth: Temp-to-perm roles available within a stable and respected company Reliable shifts: Consistent start times and working hours to help you plan your life Your key responsibilities will include: Operating Class 1 HGV vehicles safely and efficiently across assigned routes Ensuring compliance with all relevant transport and safety regulations Managing deliveries and collections with care, utilising palletised loads and forklift operations Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and reporting any mechanical issues promptly Completing daily vehicle checks and paperwork accurately Communicating effectively with logistics teams to support smooth operations Days: £20 This role uses rolled-up holiday pay. A holiday pay uplift of is included in your hourly rate and paid with each regular salary payment. You will not receive a separate payment for holiday entitlement when it is taken, and this will be itemised on your payslip Requirements: Valid UK Class 1 HGV licence with a clean driving record Experience driving large goods vehicles in a distribution or logistics environment Ability to work the 4 on / 4 off shift pattern (day or night shifts available) Professional and reliable approach to work Commitment to health and safety standards Ready to take your driving career to the next level?
