As Director – Talent Acquisition, you will lead and shape recruiting strategies across multiple European regions, driving the acquisition of top talent to meet dynamic business needs. This role focuses on building high-performing recruitment teams, partnering closely with business and HR leaders, and designing scalable processes that align with organizational growth initiatives. You will oversee the deployment of innovative talent strategies, ensure consistent operational excellence, and leverage data to inform decision-making. Your influence will extend across multiple geographies, with a direct impact on the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of talent acquisition operations. Collaboration, leadership, and strategic insight are critical in achieving success in this position.
Accountabilities- Design and implement regional talent acquisition strategies, including sourcing, pipelining, and attraction approaches for critical roles.
- Serve as a trusted TA business partner to leaders, advising on talent trends, recruitment needs, and performance metrics.
- Lead and develop a team of recruiters, managing capacity, requisition allocation, and partnering with external providers as needed.
- Drive operational excellence using continuous improvement methodologies, standard work practices, and recruitment analytics.
- Organize communities of practice to share best practices, problem-solve, and leverage talent communities.
- Deploy and optimize technology tools to enhance recruitment processes and employer brand activation.
- Onboard, coach, and develop team members while managing people-related processes such as performance reviews and compensation planning.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years' experience leading recruitment teams across multiple geographies, with experience managing people leaders preferred.
- Proven leadership and coaching capabilities with a track record of upskilling talent teams.
- Experience in lean/continuous improvement cultures, leveraging structured methodologies to drive results.
- Strong data-driven mindset, capable of deriving insights to inform recruitment strategies.
- Sophisticated stakeholder management and communication skills, able to operate effectively in global matrix environments.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills within DACH and Eastern Europe are highly beneficial.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally (5–10% as required).
