About the Role

We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Support Worker to join our friendly care home team on a full-time, day shift basis. This role is ideal for someone with prior experience in a senior care position who is dedicated to providing high-quality, person-centred care to residents.

As a Support Worker, you will play a key role in promoting residents' wellbeing, dignity, and independence while supporting the daily operations of the care home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, compassionate care and support to residents.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meals, and mobility.
  • Lead by example and support junior care staff in delivering excellent standards of care.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to individualised care plans.
  • Promote a safe, comfortable, and positive living environment for all residents.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the wider care team.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a senior care role within a care home setting.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Empathetic and caring nature.
  • You will have, or be working towards, NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £12.60 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 48 per week
