I'm recruiting on behalf of a well-established London firm that's looking to bring in an experienced
Corporate Senior Associate
to strengthen a growing team. This is a key hire for the department, and the role offers genuine exposure, autonomy, and the chance to help shape the next phase of the team's growth.

You'll be working directly with the Head of Corporate and a close-knit group of experienced lawyers, handling a broad spread of mid-market corporate transactions. You'll take the lead on deals from day one, act as main client contact, and be trusted to run matters with minimal oversight.

The work is varied and high-quality, acting for financial institutions, HNW individuals, owner-managed businesses, private investors, mid-market corporates and start-ups. Typical instructions include:

  • M&A (share and asset transactions)
  • Restructurings and reorganisations
  • Private equity and venture capital
  • Joint ventures & shareholder agreements
  • Fundraising, investment rounds and LLP/partnership matters

It's a dynamic, commercially minded team, and Senior Associates are encouraged to build their own networks and play an active role in BD.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Taking initial instructions and advising on structure and strategy
  • Leading deals end-to-end
  • Drafting and negotiating key corporate documents
  • Managing disclosure and due diligence processes
  • Overseeing exchange, completion and post-completion
  • Supporting and supervising junior colleagues
  • Working closely with other commercial teams across the firm
  • Contributing to business development and client growth

The firm is looking for a confident, capable Senior Associate who can hit the ground running:

  • 5+ PQE
    in a reputable corporate practice (flexible for the right person)
  • Proven track record of leading transactions independently
  • Strong drafting and technical skills
  • Able to manage clients directly and juggle multiple matters
  • Commercial, proactive and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong team ethic, with the ability to support and mentor juniors
  • An interest in BD and developing your own network
