Talent Acquisition Business Partner

Location: London, hybrid with travel to other UK locations

This role focuses on headhunting/recruiting best-in-class talent from leading consultancies and technology related industries. The ideal candidate will excel in understanding requirements, identifying top talent, and delivering a seamless recruitment process that ensures an outstanding candidate experience. You will work as a strategic partner to our Project Services business, understanding business objectives and talent needs, to deliver a customised recruitment solution. By aligning talent strategies with project goals, the role holder will play a key role in enhancing project outcomes and fostering long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Headhunting Top Talent: Proactively identify, engage, and attract high-calibre professionals with relevant experience at leading consultancies and/or in relevant industries.
  • Project and Programme Manager Partnership: Collaborate closely with Project and Programme Manager to understand their strategic goals, cultural fit, and specific role requirements, creating tailored vacancy profiles.
  • Technical Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the skills, competencies, and technical language relevant to each project's needs, ensuring precise candidate matching.
  • Recruitment Excellence: Deliver a top-quality recruitment service, ensuring timely, effective, and professional hiring solutions.
  • Engagement Knowledge: Demonstrate a solid understanding of different employment types, including permanent positions, limited company contractors, and umbrella company engagements.
  • Visa and Compliance Support: Work closely with HR to facilitate visa applications for skilled workers when required, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Candidate Experience: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process to provide a smooth, transparent, and positive experience for all candidates.
  • Reporting: Provide regular, insightful updates to Project and Programme managers on vacancy progress, candidate pipelines, and market feedback.
  • Talent Landscape Mapping: Conduct comprehensive market mapping to understand talent availability, competitor activity, and industry trends.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, headhunting and contractor recruitment, preferably within consultancy and technology environments.
  • Strong ability to understand and articulate technical skill sets and competencies.
  • Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to identify transferable skills and think creatively in candidate sourcing.
  • Strong knowledge of different employment contract types and engagement models.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple recruitment projects simultaneously
  • This role requires travel to UK locations, so flexibility and willingness to travel are essential
