Front of House Manager – Luxury Country House Hotel, South West England £40,000 per annum

  • Contract: Full-time, 5 days out of 7, including evenings and weekends as required

We're working with a luxury country house hotel in the South West of England to appoint a Front of House Manager to lead their guest-facing operations. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing reception, duty management and nights, ensuring a seamless experience from pre-arrival through to departure.

The Role:

  • Lead, support and develop the reception, duty and night teams
  • Oversee the full guest journey, ensuring warm, professional and efficient service
  • Manage day-to-day front office operations, standards and procedures
  • Work closely with the senior management team to drive service, efficiency and consistency
  • Support with scheduling, training, reviews and ongoing team development
  • Act as a visible duty manager presence across the hotel when required

About You:

  • Currently a Head of Department or strong Assistant Front of House Manager ready to step up
  • Experience within quality hotels, ideally luxury or boutique
  • A natural people leader – calm, confident and approachable
  • Highly organised, with strong time-management and communication skills
  • Comfortable working across reception, duty management and night operations
  • Tech-savvy with experience of hotel PMS (Opera or similar an advantage)
