About the Role

You'll be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary design team, working on the electrical systems for boats and marine vessels ranging from 6 to 30 meters. Your role will cover the full project lifecycle from initial concept and design through integration, installation, and support. You'll help shape the future of marine engineering, delivering solutions that set new standards for safety, efficiency, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and integrate electrical systems for a variety of marine vessels
  • Collaborate with naval architects, mechanical engineers, and other specialists as part of a high-performing design team
  • Lead and support the modification and upgrading of existing marine electrical systems
  • Prepare detailed plans and technical documentation to support manufacturing and installation
  • Oversee and support installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems onboard
  • Ensure compliance with relevant safety and quality standards throughout all project phases

What We're Looking For

  • Degree-qualified Electrical Engineer (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience in marine electrical engineering—boats, yachts, or other marine environments
  • Strong background in electrical system design, schematics, and integration
  • Experience working as part of a collaborative design or engineering team
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation in marine technology
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with electrical systems for class-approved or commercial vessels
  • Familiarity with marine regulations and safety standards
  • Hands-on experience with installation, commissioning, or maintenance of marine electrical systems
  • Knowledge of design software (AutoCAD, Rhino3D, or similar) is a plus
