As a Production Team Leader at Terex, based in Omagh, you'll play a pivotal role in building equipment that helps improve the lives of people around the world.

What you'll do:

Duties include:

  • Leading a production team of Hydraulic Fitters, scheduling workload and materials to ensure targets are met.
  • Ensuring strict compliance with all Health and Safety processes and procedures.
  • Maintaining a high-quality standard within the production shed at all times.
  • Support the Production Supervisor in their role to deliver, control and manage the day to day production of the shed to ensure on time delivery targets.
  • Liaising with other teams and departments on a daily basis.
  • Applying high standards of 5s.
  • Understanding of Lean principles & methodology.
  • Any other reasonable duties.

What you will bring:

  • Significant production experience gained in a highly pressured and fast paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ideally you should have previous supervisory or people management experience.
  • Good working knowledge of steel fabrication, machine parts and steel processing.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and take responsibility for making good business decisions when required.
  • Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks / projects at one time.
  • Motivated self-starter with an eye for detail.
  • Ability to drive quality improvements and meet targets
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good IT skills.
