Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Lebanese Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations within our busy establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a comprehensive understanding of food safety and service standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team, ensure excellent customer experiences, and maintain high standards of culinary excellence. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing staff, coordinating food preparation, and ensuring smooth restaurant operations.

Duties

  • Supervise and manage restaurant staff, including servers, kitchen personnel, and baristas, ensuring efficient team management and high service standards
  • Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and consistency in dishes served
  • Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all areas of the restaurant
  • Organise staff schedules, assign duties, and monitor performance to optimise productivity
  • Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
  • Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and oversee food production to minimise waste and control costs
  • Lead by example in hospitality and service delivery to foster a positive working environment
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff on menu planning, special events, and promotional activities
  • Monitor the cleanliness of the premises and ensure adherence to health & safety regulations

Experience

  • Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment
  • Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
  • Demonstrable team management skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively
  • Familiarity with culinary processes including food production, serving protocols, and kitchen operations
  • Experience in hospitality settings such as hotels or bars is advantageous
  • Strong leadership qualities combined with excellent organisational skills
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
  • Previous experience in roles such as barista or hotel service is considered beneficial but not essential
