Stockport, but regular travel across the UK (Likely 1-2 nights per week staying away)

About the Role

Our client are a well-established and reputable company with over
40 years of experience
in the roller shutter and security door industry. They specialize in the
manufacture, installation, servicing, and repair
of roller shutters, security doors, and grilles for a wide range of customers across the UK.

Due to continued growth, they are looking for experienced
Installation and Service Engineers
to join our skilled and friendly team. These roles are ideal for engineers who take pride in their work, enjoy variety, and want to develop their skills further within a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, service, and repair roller shutters and industrial doors nationwide
  • Carry out maintenance and fault-finding on a range of security door systems
  • Accurately measure and fit doors, grilles, and related products
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with safety regulations
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Travel and stay away when required (typically 1–2 nights per week)

Requirements

  • Minimum
    4 years' experience
    working with roller shutters or industrial doors
  • Full, clean
    UK driving licence
    (required)
  • Confident in both
    installation and servicing
    work
  • Flexible approach to working hours and travel
  • Strong understanding of a variety of security and industrial door systems, including:
  • Roller shutters
  • Steel doors
  • Sectional doors
  • Loading bays
  • Retractable grilles

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in manufacturing or fabrication
  • Additional industry or safety qualifications
  • Willingness to undertake further training and development
