Part-Time Cleaner – Private Household (Battersea, London)

A lovely young family with a 6-month-old baby is seeking a reliable, experienced Part-Time Housekeeper to support their household for 8 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have excellent cleaning skills, enjoy food preparation, and be willing to help cook one family meal per week. Occasional assistance with the baby would be highly beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

  • High-standard cleaning of all rooms: dusting, hoovering, mopping, and surface care
  • Kitchen upkeep: cleaning appliances, worktops, and maintaining overall cleanliness
  • Laundry and ironing as required
  • Food preparation and helping to cook one meal per week
  • Occasional support with the family's 6-month-old baby (always with a parent present)
  • Maintaining household organisation and general tidiness
  • Following household preferences and routines with care and discretion

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a private household is essential
  • Must have checkable references
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in high-quality work
