Our Story

Welcome to Chocolate Bar by Bullion - the UK's first bean-to-bar craft chocolate-focused café experience, born from the award-winning chocolate makers at Bullion.

We started right here in Sheffield's historic Leah's Yard, quickly becoming a destination for indulgent, ethically crafted drinks and vibrant community spirit. Now, we're looking for a passionate Café Manager to lead our flagship location.

The Opportunity

As Café Manager, you'll take full ownership of the day-to-day running of Chocolate Bar at Leah's Yard - leading a brilliant team, delivering joyful customer moments, and serving up our signature hot and iced chocolates, speciality coffees, and chocolate-inspired bakes. This is your chance to manage one of Sheffield's most exciting independent cafés, at the heart of a thriving community space.

What You'll Do

  • Run the Show: Oversee daily café operations, ensuring smooth, efficient and high-quality service.
  • Build a Brilliant Team: Recruit, train, and support a passionate team who thrive on creativity and hospitality.
  • Deliver Results: Drive sales, manage budgets, and track performance to grow the café sustainably.
  • Craft the Guest Experience: Make every customer interaction - whether a quick takeaway or a relaxed sit-in - warm, personal, and memorable.
  • Champion Quality: Maintain the highest standards across drinks, service, cleanliness, presentation, and compliance.
  • Own Stock & Supply: Manage ordering, stock control, and waste reduction.
  • Be the Brand: Bring Bullion's ethos - ethical sourcing, bean-to-bar craft, and indulgent innovation - to life every day.

What We're Looking For

  • Café Manager or senior hospitality leadership experience.
  • Confidence managing both drinks service and a small food offering.
  • A genuine passion for high-quality food & drink, with curiosity for craft chocolate.
  • Strong people leadership: hiring, coaching, and building a positive, collaborative culture.
  • Commercially aware and results-driven.
  • Calm under pressure, adaptable, and motivated by creating something special.
  • A self-starter who wants to shape and grow with an independent brand.
