We are looking to hire a Deputy Care Home Manager, you will work closely with the Home Manager and the senior team to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of Brooklands House Care Home in Lytham. We are looking for a candidate who will provide strong leadership, oversee staff performance, maintain high-quality care standards, and foster a welcoming environment for residents and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Home Manager and the senior team in delivering person-centered care.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of 23 staff including 2 chefs and 2 housekeepers.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, plans of care and policies.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, and other visiting professionals.
  • Assist with recruitment, staff training, and performance management.
  • Manage administrative tasks, including audits, plans of care, staff meetings.
  • You may also be required to administer medications at certain times.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a leadership role within a care setting.
  • A Level 4 or higher qualification in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • A passion for providing the highest standards of care.

Brooklands House is a family run care home and full support will be at hand from the Proprietors at all times.
