This is an opportunity to join a dynamic Project Controls team, working as a Document Controller to support delivery of a portfolio of projects spanning transmission and distribution, energy storage (hydrogen storage caverns), industrial decarbonisation and green hydrogen. You will be part of an experienced team that have a significant impact on the successful delivery of these multi-million-pound contracts, using state of the art Project Controls tools and techniques that provide concise information to the projects they support in the UK and overseas.

Your purpose:

• Responsible for controlling the numbering, filing, sorting, and retrieving of electronically stored documentation produced by project teams.
• Ensure identification of documents and compliance with standard templates and formats.
• Perform quality and compliance checks on all documentation before issuing.
• Register and maintain documents in the Electronic Document Management Systems.
• Responsible for maintaining document registers and trackers.
• Liaise with and distribute project related information with all levels of the project team and external parties.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports on projects when required.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently.

What you can bring:

• You will be energised, proactive and self-motivated with good interpersonal skills working in a team environment.
• You will be meticulous in your work, and willing to challenge document formatting and content that does not meet necessary standards for document control.
• Relevant experience in a similar role in Document control and good knowledge in document control and management processes.
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, Words, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).
• Ability to multitask, work independently and as part of the team.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise work and meet target deadlines.
• Good working knowledge of an Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) such as ProjectWise, Autodesk BIM 360, AssetWise, Asite, Business Collaborator and others.​
