We're recruiting a
Commercial Coordinator
for an established construction business based in
Cambridgeshire
.
This is a pivotal position supporting the Commercial Manager and working across sales, estimating, and project teams. You'll be the first point of contact for builders, contractors, and developers, preparing quotations, maintaining client relationships, and helping ensure projects run smoothly from enquiry to delivery.
What you'll do:
- Manage and prioritise incoming enquiries from construction clients.
- Prepare accurate quotations in line with specifications and deadlines.
- Liaise with design and estimating teams to ensure timely proposals.
- Follow up on quotes, build relationships, and identify sales opportunities.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Maintain customer databases and enquiry logs.
- Provide reports and updates to management, supporting business growth.
What we're looking for:
- Experience in construction, manufacturing, or building materials.
- Background in sales support, estimating, account management, or commercial coordination.
- Excellent verbal communication and customer-facing skills.
- Strong organisational ability and attention to detail.
- Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to read basic architectural or engineering drawings is desirable.

- Proactive and able to juggle multiple priorities.
- Team player with accountability and a desire to learn.
