Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within our clients premises. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general cleaning duties, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
  • Clean and sanitise bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas regularly.
  • Empty and replenish bins.
  • Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, light switches, and handles.
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stored.
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues to the supervisor promptly.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Attend training sessions to stay informed about proper cleaning techniques and procedures.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve overall cleanliness goals.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential.
  • Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and techniques.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work flexible hours if required.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Weekend availability would be advantageous.

Hours:

7.5 hours per week.

Opportunity to pick up overtime across our other sites.

Days and time:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Shift Times: start time after 5pm for 1.5hrs
