Join our Member Services team to deliver exceptional service to our members

NFU Scotland is looking for a Customer Services Advisor to provide outstanding customer support and ensure our members receive timely, professional assistance. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where your communication skills and attention to detail will make a real difference.

What will you do?

As a Member Services Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for our members, handling enquiries via phone and email, resolving issues efficiently, and providing accurate information on our products and services. You'll also support administrative tasks, process memberships and payments, and contribute to marketing and event activities.

What you'll bring?

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Adaptable, resilient, and proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • At least 2 years of previous experience in customer service (membership organisation experience would be a bonus).

What are we offering?

Annual salary of £26,000 - £28,000 commensurate with demonstrable knowledge, competence and experience.

Full-time permanent contract (35 hours per week)

Hybrid working (2 days a week in the office)

38-day holiday entitlement per year (Inc. Bank Holidays)

You will be based in NFU Scotland's Head Office in Ingliston (near Edinburgh Airport). Due to the location of our offices, having your own transport would be advantageous, but not essential.
