This store is based in Lakeside Business Park, PO6 3EN. Please check that you are able to travel to the store.

We require someone to be able to work during the day,, Monday -Saturday. so not suitable for a student.

This will start with 12 hours but could be extended if required.

We are seeking a motivated Sandwich Maker to join our busy food service team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation, possess excellent time management skills, and have a keen eye for food safety standards. This role wI'll require you to deliver high-quality sandwiches to our valued customers. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. The successful applicant will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring efficient service during busy periods.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare a variety of sandwiches according to Subway formulas.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area in compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Serve customers efficiently, taking orders accurately and providing excellent customer service.
  • Assist with stock replenishment and inventory management to ensure all ingredients are available for daily operations.
  • Manage time effectively during peak hours to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.

Qualifications

  • Experience in food preparation, restaurant service, or kitchen environments is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is advantageous.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour when interacting with customers.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From £10,160.00 per year

Expected hours: No less than 12 per week
