Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our culinary team as a Kitchen Team Member. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety are maintained. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic kitchen environment, contributing to the creation of delicious meals for our valued customers. Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to specified recipes and standards
  • Assist in meal preparation, ensuring timely delivery during busy service periods
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in accordance with food safety regulations
  • Follow all food safety procedures and hygiene standards to ensure customer safety
  • Support the team during peak hours by serving dishes and attending to customer needs when required
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is used correctly and maintained properly
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and high-quality meal presentation
  • Preparing Sandwiches and Buffets to for Our Catering Contracts at speed and to a high standard
  • Stock control and ordering
  • Teaching New Team Members in Kitchen Roles

Skills

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a culinary environment
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service times
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in meal presentation and cleanliness
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is advantageous
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within the kitchen environment

Working Hours Between 7am & 2.30pm Monday to Friday, Saturdays on Rota.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £12.21-£13.30 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
