Its Security Advisory team sits at the centre of the organisation's Cyber Defence practice, helping clients design, implement and optimise secure digital environments across cloud, hybrid and on premise infrastructures. With a focus on Microsoft and AWS security, the team partners with enterprise and public sector organisations to strengthen their security posture and enable safe, scalable cloud transformation.

As a Senior Security Consultant, you will play a leading role in shaping the security strategy of UK and international clients. You will deliver cloud security consultancy, architecture reviews and risk assessments across Azure and AWS, working directly with customers to design pragmatic, compliant and resilient solutions. You will also collaborate closely with internal SOC, Engineering and Governance teams to enhance detection, strengthen response and influence service evolution.

What You'll Be Doing

• Delivering expert level security consultancy and assurance services across Azure and AWS environments

• Performing cloud security posture assessments, gap analyses and configuration reviews

• Designing secure architectures aligned with NCSC, CIS and ISO 27001 frameworks

• Leading client workshops to define cloud security strategy, governance and control frameworks

• Supporting incident response and remediation planning for cloud related threats

• Collaborating with SOC and Engineering teams to align logging, identity and detection controls

• Advising on compliance and regulatory frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, Cyber Essentials Plus and NHS DSPT

• Contributing to the development of advisory frameworks, templates and best practices

• Mentoring junior consultants and sharing knowledge across the wider cyber team

What You'll Bring

• 4 or more years of experience in security consulting, architecture or engineering

• Strong technical knowledge of Azure and AWS security services, controls and architectures

• Proven experience conducting cloud security assessments or designing secure cloud solutions

• Deep understanding of IAM, networking, encryption, monitoring and incident response in cloud environments

• Familiarity with cloud native tools such as Microsoft Defender for Cloud, AWS Security Hub and GuardDuty

• Knowledge of security frameworks including NIST, CIS Benchmarks, ISO 27001 and CSA CCM

• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills

• Experience working in regulated sectors such as Healthcare, Finance or Public Sector

• Strong understanding of hybrid connectivity and zero trust principles

Desirable Experience

• Exposure to DevSecOps, CI/CD pipeline security or infrastructure as code using Terraform, ARM or CloudFormation

• Experience working across multi cloud environments such as GCP
