As our Commercial Finance Manager you will play a key role in transforming the shape of the Consumer Beauty Division.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As our Commercial Finance Manager you are key in leading the performance for all our Consumer Beauty Brands. You will own and optimize the Product Contribution by Brand through optimal product and category mix and managing brand specific investments (A&CP & Capital). The role owns the Divisional finance relationship with the Brand Marketing Managers to plan, monitor and execute brand level budgets, and more importantly to drive the products and categories that maximize Gross Margin and Product Contribution at the brand level. The role also supports the Divisional Financial Director in managing the Finance relationship with the SVP of Marketing.

Your main focus :

• Own management of all A&CP spend for the Division. Own the 3-year Strategic Plan, the Annual Operating Plan, Monthly Outlooks and other financial analysis in partnership with Brand Marketing Managers.
• Lead the 3-year Financial Strategic Plan by Brand for the Consumer Beauty Division with the Brand Marketing Managers. Play a key role in the overall Consumer Beauty P&L preparation and performance for the Annual Operating Plan and Quarterly re-forecasts.
• Conducting product mix and profitability analysis of key brands (down to Product Contribution) with recommendations on how to fix bleeders and to strategically grow the most profitable products, categories, and brands.
• Return on Investment (ROI): Drive local marketing spending ROI and Promotional ROI insights incorporating product mix & structural profitability analyses (including COGS impact).
• New Product Development (NPD) Review: Owner of the initiative reviews financial delivery and tracking, including COGS. Track and analyse the delivery of NPD delivery for the Division. Highlight key drainers and drivers for delivery versus target, incorporate learnings into future launches.

YOU ARE A COTY FIT

You like to act proactively and have a solution-oriented attitude. As a Commercial Finance Manager, you have good commercial acumen with strong financial leadership skills and you get energy from working in a fast-paced, diverse and international environment. Other than that, you:

• CIMA or ACCA qualified (happy to consider those newly qualified)
• PowerBi experience is a plus
• High level of mental agility – being able to connect the dots.
• Ability to act and operate independently with direction from Management.
• Excellent analytical skills and able to sort through complex data sets, incl. their interpretation.
• High standards of accuracy and precision; operational discipline; ability to deliver against tight deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal collaboration skills, ability to think creatively, highly driven, and self-motivated.
