The Role

We are seeking a talented and creative Midweight Graphic Designer with a strong interest in sustainability preferably with experience working within the build environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of branding, digital design, and web design, with the ability to create visually compelling graphics that effectively communicate our brand message. This role requires proficiency in various design software and a keen eye for detail, as well as the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality design solutions and take creative ownership of Etopia's marketing and communication design.

Upcoming projects include a full website refresh and supporting the growth of Etopia Custom, our bespoke housing branch.

This is a remote, part-time role (three days per week) with attendance at our London head office required one day per month.

Etopia is a sustainable construction and technology company that develops solutions for delivering environmentally sustainable housing. Our core product is an innovative Structural Insulated Panel (SIP) build system used across the residential market in the UK and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

Design and evolve marketing campaigns across digital and print.

  • Create high-quality pitch decks, brochures, and technical graphics.
  • Maintain visual consistency across all brand touchpoints.
  • Manage and grow Etopia's LinkedIn and social media presence.
  • Support and brief external partners on photo and video shoots.
  • Stay informed and inspired by trends in sustainable construction and SIP technology.

About You

3+ years' experience working freelance, in-house or within a creative agency.

  • Experience within the build environment or sustainability sectors is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating creative and strategic design work.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and PowerPoint (motion/video skills a plus).
  • Experience running or contributing to social media channels.
  • Excellent attention to detail and confident presenting ideas.
  • Positive, proactive, and passionate about design that makes a difference.
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly.
  • Experience with Figma, Sketch, InVision, and content management systems (CMS)
  • Ability to create digital designs that are visually appealing and aligned with branding strategies.
  • Familiarity with marketing principles and how they apply to graphic design.
  • Strong attention to design and a passion for creating high quality work.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £18,500.00-£21,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 21 per week
