The Role

As a Multi-Skilled Tradesperson at Markham Wallis, you'll be essential to delivering outstanding results on a variety of construction and refurbishment projects. You'll undertake a mix of plumbing tasks alongside general building, repair, and multi-trade work, both on-site and occasionally in a workshop environment. Key Responsibilities

• Carry out a wide range of multi-trade tasks including plumbing, basic joinery, minor electrical knowledge, plastering, tiling, and general repairs.
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, pipework, and fittings.
• Assist with joinery tasks where needed (e.g. skirting and simple structural components).
• Work accurately from technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
• Manage and use hand and power tools safely and responsibly.
• Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects efficiently and to a high standard.
• Be willing to travel and work out of town when required.
• Represent Markham Wallis with professionalism, integrity, and excellent customer service.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Tradesman, ideally with strong plumbing experience.
• Relevant trade qualifications (NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing or multi-trade equivalent preferred).
• Strong understanding of plumbing systems, materials, and techniques.
• Additional skills in carpentry, tiling, plastering, decorating, or general construction are highly desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to on-site challenges.
• A proactive, reliable, and positive attitude.
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
• CSCS card (desirable but not essential).
• Willingness to work at height and in varying weather conditions.
