Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organised Dental Receptionist to join our reception team at 210 Dental Clinic. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice and maintaining a welcoming environment for patients.
Duties
- Greet patients warmly as they arrive and assist them with check-in procedures.
- Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations to optimise the dentist's schedule.
- Handle patient inquiries via phone, email, and in person, providing accurate information about services and procedures.
- Maintain patient records and ensure all information is up to date in the practice management software.
- Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow and support during treatments as needed.
- Uphold cleanliness and organisation of the reception area, creating a pleasant atmosphere for patients.
Qualifications
- Previous Dental experience is essential; administrative experience within a Dental setting using SoE - Exact is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong focus on customer service.
- Proficient in using computer systems and dental practice management software is an advantage.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
