London, Greater London, United Kingdom W Talent Full time £40,000 - £80,000 per year

About the Company

A fast-growing fintech company transforming how financial institutions manage the cost and risk of trading derivatives. Their cloud-based platform helps clients optimize margin and capital efficiency across cleared futures and options markets.

They partner with global banks, asset managers, hedge funds, and commodity trading firms - providing them with data-driven insight and analytics that enable smarter, more efficient trading decisions.

As they continue to scale our international client base, we're looking for an Onboarding Lead to oversee and deliver seamless client implementations, ensuring new customers realize value from day one.

The Role

As the Onboarding Lead, you will take ownership of client onboarding from contract signature through to live usage. You'll coordinate across internal technical teams and client stakeholders to configure, validate, and launch tailored solutions.

This role combines analytical problem-solving with client relationship management and a solid understanding of derivatives markets. You'll be working closely with clients' trading, risk, and technology teams to ensure successful integration of our platform into their business workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end client onboarding projects, ensuring smooth and timely delivery.
  • Serve as the primary client contact during onboarding, building trust and confidence through clear communication and proactive issue resolution.
  • Analyse client trade and position data, identifying key requirements for margin and risk calculations.
  • Configure and validate platform settings to meet client-specific needs.
  • Collaborate with developers, quantitative analysts, and product managers to resolve issues and enhance onboarding processes.
  • Test and verify analytics and data integrations to ensure high accuracy and reliability.
  • Provide structured feedback to product and engineering teams based on client onboarding experiences.
  • Develop and continuously refine onboarding documentation and best practices.

About You

  • Proven experience in a client-facing role within financial markets (e.g., onboarding, implementation, or client success).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset; comfortable working with complex data sets.
  • Solid understanding of cleared futures and options, including margining concepts and clearing workflows.
  • Background in a bank, asset manager, hedge fund, exchange, or fintech serving institutional clients.
  • Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and validation.
  • Ability to translate technical and analytical concepts into clear, actionable client communication.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills; able to manage multiple onboarding projects in parallel.

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with derivatives risk or margin models.
  • Exposure to trading or clearing systems (e.g., CME, ICE, Eurex, or equivalent).
  • Experience working with SaaS or data analytics products.
  • Technical curiosity or experience with scripting, data visualization, or APIs.

What You'll Gain

  • Direct exposure to derivatives markets and advanced analytics.
  • A hands-on role where your work directly impacts client satisfaction and business growth.
  • Collaboration with high-calibre teams across product, quant, and client functions.
  • The opportunity to shape onboarding strategy and client experience as the company scales globally.
