(Office Based) Contract Manager – Commercial Flooring Contractors – Mids

Carpet Roles UK are delighted to be assisting their clients, a leading Midlands based Commercial Flooring Contractors with a UK wide Client base in their search for an additional office based Contract Manager to assist with their development plans for 2022 and beyond.

Our clients are based in the South West Midlands and service a varied client base UK Wide, specialist areas they work on include:
  • Hospitality Projects, Hotels, Pubs Etc
  • Office Refurbs
  • Retail
  • Health and Education
They are winning business across all of the above sectors, some busier than others due to Covid but increasing demand has led them to now need an additional Contract Manager to help with building great relationships and winning business across their core Business areas.

They are growing and have a projected turnover this year of above £12mil.

You will be based from our clients Head Office in Worcestershire and will work on various Projects from the office and through site visits and meetings as required.

You will be a Commercial Flooring Professional, either an existing Project / Contract Manager or a Technically knowledgeable Fitter who is looking for a new challenge.
  • Flooring Professional ideally from a Contract / Project Management background.
  • Used to delivering successful installations on multiple fronts to cost and to a consistently high standard.
  • Contacts and ability to manage teams of Fitters remotely and face to face on site.
  • Knowledge of Sub Floor and Preparation for Installs.
  • Excellent Product Knowledge of all Commercial Flooring Products and their effective installation.
  • Customer focussed approach.
  • Well presented and excellent communication skills.
  • Organised and methodical approach to planning and managing Commercial Flooring Projects..
  • IT savvy, happy to learn as you go our clients CRM and planning system (Bespoke system).
  • Happy to Travel as part of the role.
The role is as stated ideally suited to an experienced Flooring Project Manager or Commercial Flooring Fitter looking to get off their knees but still wanting to utillise their excellent knowledge and experience in Flooring.
