As FP&A Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the charity's financial strategy and ensuring resources are used effectively to support its mission. You'll be the go-to person for insightful analysis, guiding senior leaders with clear recommendations and helping the organisation plan for a sustainable future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior stakeholders to provide financial insight that supports decision-making
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic goals
  • Deliver clear, impactful reporting to the executive team and trustees
  • Drive improvements in financial modelling and scenario planning
  • Champion continuous improvement in FP&A processes and systems
  • Support long-term strategic planning with robust financial analysis

Essential Criteria

We're looking for someone who thrives on turning numbers into stories and strategies. You'll bring:

  • A fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with substantial post-qualification experience in financial planning and analysis
  • Strong background in utilising finance systems and advanced planning tools to deliver accurate insights
  • In-depth understanding of Charities SORP
  • Proven track record of managing and developing staff effectively
  • Skilled at training and supporting non-finance colleagues to interpret and apply financial information
  • Experienced in building and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
