Go City is looking for a Paid Search Executive to join our search team. This role supports the continued growth of Paid Media acquisition channels at Go City through delivery and optimisation of ad spend across global markets.

Reporting to the Search Director, as part of a search team of five people you will be responsible for driving acquisition campaigns within multiple platforms across global markets within the wider Performance Marketing team. You will be executing search strategies based on customer insights and market data, drive a range of paid search initiatives, and ensure we are seeing a profitable growth in pass sales.

The Paid Search Executive is responsible for managing search campaigns to achieve target performance metrics. This includes developing best-in-class text, video, and image creatives; conducting A/B testing of user journeys; applying sophisticated audience targeting; and optimising campaigns across platforms such as Google, Microsoft, Apple, and TikTok.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, execute and deliver paid search campaigns for Go City, ensuring all commercial metrics are delivered
  • Leveraging new technologies including AI to improve performance
  • Executing global strategies for Paid Search led by the Search Director
  • Own the testing of new channels, markets and platform betas for your destination cities
  • Platform management, budget allocation, performance monitoring, strategic testing and campaign expansion across platforms such as Google, Bing, Apple, Tik Tok.
  • Data manipulation and interpretation for campaign analysis, using actionable insights to improve performance through optimisation
  • Measure success of campaigns through development of analysis - reporting where enhancements can be made
  • Audit and problem-solve tracking issues to ensure accurate measurement of campaign performance
  • Develop strong relationships within the marketing department and wider business
  • Work to develop and drive improved campaign efficiencies
  • Proactively keep abreast of the latest paid media trends to apply to the business, where applicable

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Essential:

  • 1+ years background in managing PPC campaigns. Preferably working on accounts that have complexity in size, with larger budgets over $30k per month. Multiple geographical areas preferred.
  • Be familiar with all aspects of the end-to-end campaign process in Google Ads and Microsoft Ads
  • Highly goal-orientated individual who is driven by sales targets and an ambition to succeed
  • Strong analytical abilities and experience producing, interpreting, and presenting reports
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal English
  • Demonstrated ability to use initiative, and curiosity to identify opportunities
  • Knowledge and working experience of Google Analytics and holistic search strategies
  • Strong Excel skills as well as all other MS Office programs
  • Strong knowledge of B2C landscapes and the search landscape in general, preferably within the context of global markets
  • Sound understating of digital marketing in general, and in ecommerce

Desirable:

  • Experience working in a travel related business or familiarity with very granular equivalents with geographical complexity
  • Experience with executing SEO-related optimisations
  • Experience using bid management software such as Skai/Kenshoo or Google Search Ads 360 (DoubleClick Search)
  • Product Feed management within Google and/or third-party tools
  • Experience in using recent AI bid management tools
