Why this role matters

As ILD continues to grow, we're seeking a Programme Manager who will be the driving force behind the seamless delivery of our leadership development experiences.

We need someone who can own every stage of delivery, bringing structure, calm, and excellence to every client engagement.

This is not an administrative coordination role. It's a pivotal position that ensures ILD's promise of world-class leadership development is kept, every time.

You'll play a central role in delighting clients, empowering facilitators, and delivering measurable outcomes that make a tangible difference in people's lives.

If you thrive on precision, love creating order from complexity, and find satisfaction in excellence executed quietly and consistently, this could be your ideal next chapter.

Role overview

As ILD's Leadership Development Programme Manager, you'll oversee every stage of our programmes, from preparation and logistics through delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement.

You'll blend strategic oversight with hands-on project management. You'll be the person who makes sure nothing falls through the cracks, and that everything and everyone is aligned for success.

You'll partner closely with the Learning Design Partner, Operations Director, and Admin Director, and work directly with facilitators and clients to ensure every detail runs like clockwork.

What you'll do

  • Support participant-facing processes (applications, interviews, onboarding) with structure and care.
  • Coordinate facilitators, materials, visuals, and logistics to deliver a seamless learning experience.
  • Manage schedules, calendars, and delivery timelines with precision.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to participant and client queries.
  • Manage live delivery of in-person and virtual workshops and programmes.

Client Care & Feedback

  • Act as a key point of contact for clients and participants: approachable, reliable, and proactive.
  • Ensure communication feels personal, timely, and professional.
  • Prepare monthly review meetings, track feedback, and log improvement actions.
  • Support ILD's mission to deliver client experiences that are smooth, caring, and memorable.

Quality & Continuous Improvement

  • Oversee quality reviews post-delivery and ensure lessons learned are embedded into future programmes.
  • Manage ILM certification compliance accurately and on time.
  • Collaborate on post-programme reflections and team reviews.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and participant experiences, contributing to ILD's culture of continuous learning.

Training & Cross-Support

  • Co-develop and deliver "Train the Trainer" sessions with the Learning Design and Admin Directors.
  • Create and update training materials and visual assets.
  • Provide cross-functional support across Programmes and Admin when required.
