We're looking for an Early Years Assistant to join our Putney Day Nursery and Preschool. Our nursery is situated in Putney, with great transport links- just a 5 minute walk from several stations and within close proximity of Roehampton, Barnes, Wandsworth and Wimbledon

Our 62-place nursery is proudly Ofsted rated 'Good'. The nursery features beautifully designed, bright and engaging rooms and our nursery also offers a fabulous adventure garden for our children to explore and enhance their learning

The Role

As an Early Years Assistant, you will work as part of a team to look after babies and children up to the age of 5. You will have adventures with our children through interactive play, activities, reading, and encouraging their curious minds - supporting colleagues with each child's development towards their key milestones.

What we're looking for
  • Previous experience working with children ideal but not essential - Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
  • Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents
  • Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
