We are looking for a dedicated Deputy Nursery Manager to join a high-quality early years setting that values both its team and the families it supports. About the Role:

As Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the overall leadership of the nursery. Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the day-to-day management of the setting to ensure smooth operations
  • Leading and mentoring early years staff, promoting a collaborative and supportive culture
  • Supporting the planning and delivery of an engaging curriculum in line with the EYFS
  • Ensuring compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and statutory frameworks
  • Building strong relationships with families, offering consistent communication and support
  • Contributing to staff rota planning, recruitment and budget-related tasks
  • Creating a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment for all children

What You'll Need:

  • A Level 3 qualification or above in Early Years Education or Childcare (essential)
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or management role in an early years setting
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and early years legislation
  • Ability to lead, motivate and support a team
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A genuine passion for providing outstanding care and education
