WANTED Head of Property Management – Dartford Area: An excellent opportunity to lead a property management department for a respected independent agency in Dartford. You'll drive service standards, compliance, and team performance while working closely with the Head of Lettings.

We're recruiting on behalf of a busy independent agency in Dartford and seeking an experienced seeking an experienced Property Manager. This is a key leadership role, overseeing the property management function and working closely with the Head of Lettings to deliver a smooth, compliant, and customer-focused service.

You'll be responsible for elevating operational standards, supporting and developing the team, strengthening landlord relationships, and ensuring the property portfolio is managed efficiently, professionally, and in line with current legislation. This role suits someone confident, solutions-driven, and committed to improving processes within a growing department.

What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities):

• Lead, develop, and support the Property Management team.
• Oversee the full property portfolio, ensuring high standards and compliance.
• Manage escalated landlord and tenant issues, providing effective resolutions.
• Approve and oversee maintenance, repairs, major works, and contractor performance.
• Ensure legal compliance across safety, legislation, and documentation.
• Work closely with the Head of Lettings to streamline processes and enhance service delivery.

• Strong leadership experience in residential property management.
• Excellent knowledge of lettings legislation and compliance.
• Confident managing escalations and high-volume portfolios.
• Skilled in communication, negotiation, and relationship-building.
• Organised, proactive, and solutions-focused.
• Experience with major works and contractor oversight.
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
• Capable of developing and supporting a team.
• Able to work closely with senior management.
