A full-time, permanent position for individuals with education and management background working an average of 40 hours per week for 5 days over a 7-day period.

The Role

We are looking for a Centre Manager with a flair for sales, leadership, and organisation to successfully operate our thriving learning centre. You will be working around students up to GCSE level and whilst this will not be the focus of your role, we are looking for someone who is passionate about teaching maths; energetic and excited to work with children.

Your focus will be to grow the business through proactive marketing, effective sales, overseeing the instructional team, building, and maintaining relationships with parents and guardians, inspiring and developing staff and operating the branch within the administrative guidelines set out by our head office.

You will be inducted with a world class training programme when you start, covering all aspects of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Generate leads with local marketing and local campaigns
  • Achieve branch growth through efficient sales
  • Build a network in the local community and create opportunities through relationships with schools, businesses, and parents
  • Champion customer service, communicate student progress regularly and confidently with the result of superior student retention
  • Assign curriculum by appropriately assessing students and using Mathnasium systems to monitor and diagnose gaps in their learning
  • Oversee staff training and continued professional development
  • Maintain accurate data for reporting and analysis purposes
  • Manage payroll expenditure and centre costs with the goal of profitability and business success in mind
  • Build, train and develop a high performing team

Qualifications and experience

  • Degree holders in maths and education with sales and business development experience preferred.
  • At least mathematics GCSE
  • At least 2-3 years of experience working preferably at management level or in sales

Questions for you

  • We are open during the week Monday – Thursday between 15:00-19:30 and on Saturday from 10:00-15:00, are you willing and available to work those hours?

This position requires you to be present in our learning centre and therefore does not accommodate WFH, are you willing to lead this business from the front?
