We Are JUNO CIC is a non-profit children's residential care home provider. We create homes where young people feel safe, loved and supported in all aspects of their emotional, physical, and educational development - homes, where young people thrive.

We aim to disrupt existing models of residential care that are not serving the children they support and develop homes across Liverpool City Region that improve outcomes and reduce profiteering in the sector.

We are now looking for 2 x Deputy Managers to join the team in January 2026: one for Juno Oxton (4-bed EBD home), and one for Juno Wallasey (4-bed EBD home). All our homes are rated 'Good' by Ofsted, and we focus only on supporting children from the Merseyside & Cheshire area.

As Juno's Deputy Manager you will:

• Work alongside the team on shifts and supervising the staff team alongside the Registered Manager.
• Be responsible for the effective day-to-day running of the home in the absence of the Registered Manager, working flexibly to meet changing demands and be willing to take on new tasks and responsibilities.
• Safeguard and promote the welfare of the children living in the home, taking practical steps to ensure their safety. This includes identifying, recording and reporting any risk of harm or child protection concerns in accordance with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Take the lead in developing care plans and risk assessments, then work with each child to follow their care plan to reflect their changing needs and be proactive in working to achieve the aims of their care plan.

Role requirements include:

• Level 3 Diploma in Children's Residential Care (or equivalent) with two years experience of working with children in a residential care setting
• Full, clean driving licence (preferred)
• Experience in supervising other staff and experience of effective co-working with other professionals
• Knowledge of children's rights and of adolescent mental health and therapeutic approaches including trauma-informed and child-centred practice
