Skylark Country Club is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated PGA Assistant Professional to join our dynamic golf team. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career within one of Hampshire's most welcoming and vibrant golf environments. You'll play a key role in delivering outstanding service to our members and guests, both on and off the course.

The role and responsibilities

  • Deliver an exceptional level of service to all members and guests, ensuring every visitor enjoys a first-class golfing experience.
  • Build strong relationships with members, actively engaging in club activities and events.
  • Assist with golf shop operations, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment at all times. Support the daily operation of the Pro Shop, including retail sales, stock control, merchandising, and cash handling.
  • Promote and upsell products, services, and memberships in line with club targets. Maintain the highest standards of presentation and professionalism throughout the retail area.
  • Act as the starter on the first tee, ensuring players are briefed on course conditions, pace of play expectations, and club policies.
  • Serve as a player assistant, monitoring pace of play, assisting players where necessary, and ensuring the course operates smoothly throughout the day.
  • Communicate effectively with the Golf Operations team to manage tee times, weather delays, and course flow.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned or required by the Golf Operations Manager

Requirements

  • Full Driving Licence

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £10.00-£13.00 per hour
