Job Introduction

The pay range for this role will be £28,142 – £31,537 (pro rata for part time colleagues)

Flexible shifts including weekends & bank holidays

Are you passionate about creating delicious dishes and keeping customers happy? We're looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Café Cook to join our vibrant team at the Prom Café.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare and cook a variety of menu items to high standards, from hearty breakfasts to seaside classics.
  • Ensure food is presented attractively and served promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following food hygiene and health & safety regulations.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and rotation.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, supporting the team during busy periods.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a cook or in a professional kitchen.
  • Knowledge of food safety and allergen procedures.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality and consistency.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Flexible and reliable, with availability for weekends and bank holidays.

Requirements

  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or above).
  • Right to work in the UK (valid ID & National Insurance number).
  • Comfortable working in a busy kitchen and able to lift/carry items safely.
  • Must be over 18
