Director, Healthcare Valuation AdvisoryLocation: London, United KingdomDepartment: Valuation & Advisory ServicesReports to: Head of Healthcare ValuationAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Director to join our Healthcare Valuation Advisory team in London. This senior role requires a proven professional with deep expertise in healthcare real estate valuation and advisory services, capable of managing complex client relationships while contributing to business growth across the UK and EMEA healthcare sector.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Leadership & Business DevelopmentManage key client relationships with healthcare operators, investors, and institutional clientsSupport strategic business development initiatives within the healthcare sectorPresent valuation findings and market insights to C-suite executives and investment committeesIdentify new market opportunities and contribute to expanding service offeringsTechnical ExcellenceConduct complex healthcare property valuations including hospitals, medical office buildings, care homes, and specialized facilitiesEnsure compliance with RICS Red Book standards and international valuation guidelinesPrepare and review valuation reports and advisory deliverablesInvestor & Lender ServicesDeliver comprehensive valuation services for investment transactions and portfolio assessmentsSupport debt and equity financing through detailed property appraisals and market analysisProvide ongoing portfolio monitoring and revaluation services for institutional clientsTeam CollaborationWork closely with senior team members and support junior valuation professionalsContribute to professional development and technical training initiativesCollaborate with cross-functional teams including research, capital markets, and asset managementSupport business development and client relationship activitiesMarket IntelligenceMonitor healthcare real estate market trends and regulatory changesContribute to thought leadership content and market reportsMaintain relationships with key industry stakeholders and professional bodiesRequired QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or related field; Master's preferredProfessional: MRICS qualification (or equivalent) with demonstrated healthcare sector expertiseExperience: Minimum 8-10 years in commercial real estate valuation with 5+ years focused on healthcare propertiesClient Management: Proven track record managing client relationships and complex projectsTechnical: Advanced knowledge of valuation methodologies, financial modeling, and market analysisEssential SkillsDeep understanding of healthcare real estate fundamentals and operational driversStrong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in Excel, Argus, and valuation softwareExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple complex projects simultaneouslyStrong commercial acumen and client relationship management capabilitiesPreferred ExperiencePrevious experience with healthcare M&A transactions or portfolio advisory workKnowledge of UK healthcare regulations and NHS frameworksFamiliarity with international healthcare real estate marketsExperience with alternative healthcare property typesDemonstrated experience serving institutional investors and lending institutionsWhat We OfferCompetitive salary and performance-based compensationComprehensive benefits package including healthcare, pension, and professional developmentOpportunities for career advancement within a global organizationFlexible working arrangements and commitment to work-life balanceAccess to cutting-edge technology and market intelligence platformsJLL is committed to creating an inclusive and diverse workplace.
