Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and driving growth within the organisation. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales and business development, particularly in the Adult Health and Social Care sector.
Duties
- Develop and implement effective business development strategies to achieve company goals.
- Identify potential clients and generate new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and referrals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for growth.
- Prepare and deliver engaging presentations to prospective clients, showcasing our products and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on business objectives and client needs.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline management.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and client feedback to senior management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development or sales management roles.
- Knowledge of procurement and sourcing in the health and care sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to think strategically about business opportunities.
