Your Role
The Technical Account Manager (TAM) at Treasure Data is a technical specialist role focused on providing advanced platform expertise and implementation support to both enterprise customers and strategic partners.

Things you will do

  • Be the technical authority for Treasure Data platform capabilities, serving as the primary escalation point for complex technical challenges faced by customers and partners.
  • Guide technical solution design and architecture, providing expert guidance on data connectivity, ingestion patterns, and implementation approaches.
  • Lead technical deep-dives and knowledge transfer sessions to enable customers and partners on platform features, focusing on technical best practices and optimal implementation patterns.
  • Proactively monitor and optimize customer environments, identifying opportunities for technical enhancements and providing clear visibility into platform performance.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution architecture documents, implementation guides, and best practice recommendations.
  • Drive technical product adoption by assessing the feasibility of proposed solutions, advising on platform capabilities, and ensuring successful implementation of complex use cases.
  • Provide technical leadership in partner and customer implementations, coordinating with implementation teams to ensure architectural integrity and best practices are maintained.
  • Deliver regular technical status updates and recommendations, effectively communicating complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.
  • Stay current with the latest platform features and capabilities, providing technical guidance on new functionality and potential applications.
  • This is a hands-on role – be ready to jump in and use the product from day one.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of experience in technical consulting or solutions architecture
  • Strong experience with:

  • Data connectivity and ingestion architectures

  • Solution architecture and system design
  • Data engineering principles and practices
  • Basic understanding of AdTech and MarTech ecosystems

  • Advanced SQL knowledge and data modeling experience

  • Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline design
  • Strong technical documentation and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Treasure Data or similar CDP platforms
  • Advanced knowledge of marketing technology and advertising technology landscapes
  • Expertise in one or more specialty areas:

  • Advanced data modeling

  • Machine learning and AI applications
  • Real-time data processing
  • Privacy and compliance architecture

  • Background in partner or customer-facing technical roles

  • Experience with agile development methodologies

Physical Requirements
Working out of the London office according to our "Global Hybrid Working Policy."

Travel Requirements
25% travel average with the opportunity to travel more if desired.
