WPR is working with a growing Lloyd's insurer based in London who are looking for a dedicated Technical Accounting Manager to strengthen their team. This is a permanent role that offers the chance to work within a supportive environment, where your expertise in technical accounting and policy will be highly valued. You will be responsible for providing authoritative technical guidance, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and facilitating accounting and finance change initiatives. You'll be making sure all reporting is compliant with UK/US GAAP, IFRS, Solvency 2 etc and performing technical reviews of all the statutory and regulatory reporting.

Key skills and requirements:
  • Experience as a Technical Accounting Policy role, specifically in the insurance industry
  • Qualified Accountant
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements (IFRS, GAAP Solvency 2 etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise across teams and stakeholders
  • Proven ability to interpret complex technical issues clearly and accurately
