Engineering Maintenance Technician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical and electrical maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance tasks, ensuring optimal performance of equipment and facilities while providing excellent customer service.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Interpret schematics and technical drawings for effective repairs and installations.
- Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for system diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Conduct welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance projects.
- Provide leadership and supervision to junior staff when required, fostering a positive work environment.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests.
Experience
- Proven experience in maintenance roles, demonstrating strong mechanical knowledge and electrical experience.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical documentation.
- Welding skills are an advantage for this position.
- Previous supervisory experience is beneficial, showcasing leadership capabilities within a team setting.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are essential for effective collaboration and customer interaction.

Pay: £37,000.00-£38,951.00 per year
