WANTED Assistant Lettings Manager

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Letting Agent to join a vibrant and highly successful independent estate agency with offices across the Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire area.

In this senior-level role, you will assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the lettings department, support staff development, conduct valuations, and help grow the business. The ideal candidate will be proactive, personable, and commercially driven, with a strong background in residential lettings and leadership.

What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities):

• Supporting the Lettings Manager in daily operations
• Carrying out rental valuations and securing new instructions
• Managing landlord relationships and growing the portfolio
• Motivating and supporting the lettings team
• Ensuring compliance with lettings legislation and best practice
• Overseeing tenancy agreements, renewals, and client accounts
• Identifying new business opportunities and improving service delivery 

What We're Looking For (Skills & Experience):

• Significant previous experience in a senior residential lettings role
• Proven success in property valuations and winning new business
• Comprehensive understanding of the lettings process and regulations
• Excellent organisational and IT skills
• Visionary and ambitious with a growth mindset
• Professional, personable, and confident communicator
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong local knowledge essential
• ARLA qualified (preferred)
