Plasma Operative

Production - Dungannon, County Tyrone

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Overtime: Paid at 1.5x standard rate

Would you like to be part of a friendly, supportive working environment with a company that values its people? CK International is a leading manufacturer of waste compaction equipment, and we are currently seeking skilled Plasma Operative to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and work orders.
  • Set up machines, adjust settings, and select the appropriate cutting programs.
  • Inspect materials before and after cutting to ensure accuracy, quality, and conformance to specifications.
  • Perform basic machine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
  • Monitor cutting speeds, gas flow, and torch alignment for optimal performance.
  • Handle raw materials, finished parts, and scrap safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate production records and follow job tracking systems.
  • Follow safety protocols, including PPE usage, fire prevention, and safe material handling.
  • Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and quality inspectors to meet production goals.
  • Maintain a clean and organised working environment

Essential Criteria:

  • 1–3 years of experience operating CNC plasma cutting machines or related equipment
  • Ability to operate a folklift (forklift license not essential as fully training will be provided)
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety responsibilities
  • Positive attitude and team-focused mindset
  • Ability to work to technical drawings with minimal supervision
