Company Overview: Fenchurch Legal is a litigation funding business that provides finance to UK law firms to fund small-ticket ATE claims which are ran by solicitor firms on a no-win-no-fee basis. These include Housing disrepair, financial mis-selling, data breach claims etc. We are experiencing rapid growth and are looking to grow the team to help in our continued success.
Role Overview: We are seeking a Legal Claims Auditor to join our dynamic team in London. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and adherence to established criteria of legal claims and case files that Fenchurch fund. The Legal Claims Auditor will work closely with our panel law firms and underwriting teams to scrutinize and review claims to ensure they are being run efficiency and effectively. This role requires a meticulous individual with a strong understanding of the legal claims processes. With a larger number of our panel firms based around the country any applicants should be willing to travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive audits of legal claims and case files over our panel of funded law firms, assessing their running.
- Collaborate with law firms and internal teams to investigate and review claims, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and valid.
- Regularly report findings and audit results to the internal other stakeholders.
- Liaising with the panel law firms regarding audit findings to ensure areas for improvements, questions or queries are actioned appropriately.
- Assist in the creation and refinement of audit processes and systems to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Undertake legal research into new claim areas, keeping up to date on industry insights and legal news.
- Draft documentation and assist with policy and process improvements as needed.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining high standards under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Law, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in auditing, claims handling, or a related field within the legal services industries.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in data analysis and interpretation with a robust understanding of legal and regulatory environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to manage relationships effectively and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Interest and experience in claims and litigation processes.
