Job Overview

We're looking for a Purchasing and Compliance Assistant to join our growing team. This is a varied and administrative role, perfect for someone who enjoys organisation, accuracy, and ensuring things run smoothly behind the scenes.

You'll be responsible for supporting our purchasing activities and assisting with compliance processes, ensuring that materials, products, and records are managed efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities

  • Raising and processing purchase orders
  • Liaising with suppliers and following up on deliveries
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation
  • Assisting with stock and inventory management
  • Supporting compliance checks and administrative reporting
  • Ensuring data accuracy in internal systems (Orderwise experience highly advantageous)
  • General administrative support to the Purchasing and Compliance teams

Experience

  • Admin experience of at least 2 years is compulsory
  • Previous experience in purchasing, administration, or procurement is highly advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
  • Confident communicator and team player
  • Experience using Orderwise software is extremely advantageous

The Role

This is a part time role of between 20-30 hours per week, working 5 to 6 hours per day Monday to Friday.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £14.50 per hour
