Main Tasks & responsibilities

  • Helping guests and creating positive experiences
  • Operate Food & Beverage outlets the Plymouth Active way
  • Manage all bills and payments correctly
  • Serve and prepare food, clean, tidy, restock, take deliveries and organise back of house areas
  • Follow all food safety, licensing and health and safety policies to work safely
  • Supporting other Team Members and follow direction from Duty Managers
  • Promote and support Plymouth Active Leisure values and brand.
  • To assist with events for both layup and service
  • Support larger events.

We're looking for someone with:

  • high energy and a fearless do-it-yourself attitude
  • Good with people and enjoy chatting with guests
  • Skilled multi tasker who can balance hard work with great service
  • Knows being relaxed isn't the same as being lazy
  • Clear communicator
  • Maintain a professional image by being respectful, helpful, and courteous

  • Deal competently with dietary requirements and allergens, as instructed by Line

Manager.

  • Support other departments as required as part of a 'one team' approach

Useful Experience

  • Experience within the service industry (3 years)
  • Knowledge of tills and payment systems
  • Knowledge of Food Safety & Licensing laws
  • Personal experience of the hospitality industry
