Product Sales Specialist Automation

Location: Scotland (field-based with travel)Employer: Were working with a leading distributor of industrial automation & control products to recruit a Product Sales Specialist for their Automation & Software team. This is a technical sales role where youll be responsible for supporting existing customers and developing new business across Scotland, with a focus on PLC, HMI and software solutions, plus complementary third-party products. The role will include: Driving profitable growth of the Automation & Software business in your regionBuilding and developing new business opportunities and target accountsProviding technical advice, pre-sales support and training to customers and colleaguesDelivering workshops and joint customer visits with colleagues and partnersActing as a trusted specialist for automation and software solutions Were looking for someone who: Holds an HNC/HND or higher in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)Has strong technical knowledge of PLC, HMI and Software productsIdeally has industrial field sales experience (not essential)Is confident building relationships, solving problems, and delivering technical solutions Whats on offer: Base salary + company car/allowance (EV options available)25 days holiday (rising with service) + option to flex daysPrivate medical cover & wellbeing cashback schemeLife assurance (4x salary), pension (5% employer contribution)Free shares after 3 years serviceEnhanced parental leave, volunteering time off, gym discounts, cycle scheme and more This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business thats part of a global group but retains a supportive, people-focused culture.
