Unique opportunity to shape the university’s change culture and drive organisations‑wide transformation initiatives.Salary: From £62,443 per annum inclusive of London WeightingPost type: Full Time, PermanentClosing date: Sunday 04 January 2026Interview date: Thursday 29 January 2026About the role: As Head of Change Management you will develop and lead a team of Change Managers, embed a comprehensive change management framework and toolkit, and help the university grow its change capability across all levels. You will work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to increase the institution’s change maturity, ensuring leaders, managers and staff are equipped to implement and embed transformation initiatives and the university’s vision. Using our Prosci licence, you will access a range of resources to support progress across the organisation.Key responsibilities: • Design and deliver change management strategies, processes and governance across projects and programmes. • Build and coach a community of change agents to embed adoption practices throughout UEL. • Develop tailored coaching and support for colleagues and senior leaders, strengthening organisational capability for change. • Design and facilitate workshops, training sessions and adoption‑focused activities to promote change. • Communicate strategically with stakeholders to build trusted relationships and manage change effectively.About you: • Undergraduate degree (or equivalent) and a recognised change management qualification. • Demonstrable experience leading cross‑organisational change portfolios within large and complex environments. • Ability to apply structured methodologies and tools to deliver programmes and projects of significant scale. • Skilled in coaching, facilitation, and engaging change workshops. • Strong strategic communication and stakeholder‑management skills. • Experience managing teams of change professionals and fostering collaboration in ambiguous situations.Benefits package: UEL offers a competitive salary (dependent on experience) and a range of excellent benefits.
